Something bad happened,
Something causes you to cry,
Something bad happened,
And you don't know why.
You always thought they weren't real,
You thought you'd be secure,
They had to be fiction,
But now, you're not too sure.
Your whole family,
On their necks were bites,
Only you survived,
Though horrified by the sights.
You ran away,
In fear and sorrow,
You didn't think
You'd ever see tomorrow.
Into the forest you ran,
Barefoot and sad,
Thinking back on it now
Almost makes you go mad.
Your mind races,
Your beating heart as well,
You weren't watching your footing,
And so you fell.
Face first into the ground,
You just laid there and waited,
Your being full of sorrow,
Your heart was weighted.
You didn't want to get up,
You wanted them to come,
You wanted them to finish,
Though you knew it was dumb.
You heard soft footsteps,
You lifted your head to see,
Instead of seeing a monster
All you saw was me.
I held out my hand,
Gave you a smile,
Just to let you know,
You'd be fine... for a while.
I helped you up,
And held you tight,
Only I could truly see
In the pale moonlight.
You cried in my chest,
You wanted the pain to go,
You wanted some angel,
To answer your questions with a no.
An angel I am,
Though of mercy I am not,
I can feel your blood,
Thick and hot.
Beating quickly,
Under your skin,
To leave you here
Would be a great sin.
I whisper in your ear,
Make you calm down,
Making your sad expression
Turn into a smile instead of a frown.
Using my eyes
To cast a spell on you,
I tilt your head,
And do what I want to do.
I open my mouth,
Letting my fangs come out,
Glad you can't see them,
Otherwise you'd shout.
Glowing in the moonlight,
Though tinted red,
As if, by some odd chance,
I've already fed.
The monster you fear,
I am he,
Though you couldn't know,
What I could be.
Your skin, so smooth,
And paper thin,
Tells me already
That I will win.
I sink my fangs in your neck,
Deep and strong,
Your expression changed,
This had to be wrong.
Though soon you felt pleasure,
Pleasure greater than ever,
This connection, me to you,
You never wanted to sever.
Your blood I drank,
Like a fine, rich wine,
I pulled my fangs out,
And let them shine.
You saw them in the haze,
How they glowed in red,
You reached for your neck,
Exactly where I had fed.
You withdrew from my hold,
Screaming in pain,
Now seeing the monster
You had wanted slain.
You fell to the ground,
I sighed in dispair,
I thought you'd be different,
A beauty so fair.
I withdrew into the shadows,
Leaving you to my pack,
They needed you weak,
I had special powers they did lack.
And so you meet your end,
Sad to say,
But then again,
That's the Vampire's Way.

The Vampire
Carries silhouette along the walls of the dark corridors in the library stretched and bent along with the flickering of the torches. She rubbed her arms absentmindedly despite the fact that the hot desert weather was making her sweat profusely. Right now, however, her cold sweat was making her shiver. The dust and sand stuck to her hair and skin and clothes, forcing her to scratch her arm or stomach or somewhere to get that uncomfortable chaffing feeling to go away.
The old Egyptian library had been discovered only a few weeks ago in the old ruins of an abandoned village about thirty miles off the booming city of Cairo. And in about tw

I knew I was going to find her there, in the lake, under the ice.
I sat down on my knees, put my hand on the ice, over her face.
Pictures flashing in front of me.
Mortals were affraid of her so they gathered up against her,
when she was weak they threw her into the lake and denied her excistence.
The thick ice now melted under my palms and I lifted her up,
held her in my arms.
I wanted her to breathe and so she did, I wanted her to wake up and so she did.
My will is higher than mother nature and my wish more sacret than reality.
Our eyes met and we just sat there,
looking eachother in the eyes for several days and nights.

Vampire
Alone, we walk in the night,
Far from the Sun and of its cursed rays.
Hidden in shadow, we await you,
To choose the prey that we desire
When in our arms, we hold you,
That our fangs pierce your skin,
That the blood reaches us in a wave,
It's a pure ecstasy that we live!
Many strengths, we possess.
As: To Fly into the night,
Sheltered from all diseases,
And of course, a lot of others gifts.
Are we really immortal?
The sun, would it be our unique enemy?
No way, this is only one of our bother.
The eternity may also be mortal for us.
The things that we like disappear,
The important people for us, succumb
We, o

So, yes. I've gotten hooked on the vampire poems. This one's a bit the same, although I like it better. And yes, it is tons longer. It's not exactly two seconds that the whole thing happens, y'know.
